The Role

At Valtech Copenhagen, we are now hiring for a dedicated Project Manager (with a passion for Scrum!), who will work primarily with one of our biggest local clients in the real estate & property management sector. 

The commitment to this client is a long-term, ongoing engagement which requires an Agile skillset to keep delivery on course, and will see the successful candidate work both on-site with the client in Vanløse, and with internal teams at our Copenhagen office.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to deepen your knowledge of Scrum, complete a Scrum Master certification and apply this gained knowledge in practice. 

Over time and with experience, your role as a Valtech consultant will open up beyond the main client, to having multiple ongoing engagements with various internal teams and customers across different industries and technologies. 

As a Valtech Project Manager, you will:

/ Become a trusted advisor for clients seeking frictionless solutions for the digital transformation of their business(es)

/ Act as an agile mentor and servant leader for Valtech development & design teams working to close the gap between customer expectations and reality

/ Facilitate Scrum events with Valtech teams and lead meetings with client stakeholders, providing structure and guidance to Product Owner(s) and colleagues

/ Be trusted and empowered to remove complexity in our innovations - your objective will be to make sure we deliver, on time, and that our clients are left equally delighted with how we collaborate and what we create.

Who are you?

You are a dedicated mid-level Project Manager with 2 or more years of relevant experience. Ideally, you are Scrum-certified with hands-on experience in implementation of agile methodology in a digital product development environment. 

However, as Scrum is not the core framework for all of our engagements, we are also open to hear from you if Valtech would be the place for you to become Scrum-certified: in other words, if your interest in Valtech and your latent passion for Agile work could combine to make this an appealing next step in your career. 

Specifically, you possess: 

/ 2-5 years of experience working as a project manager in IT/digital sector, preferably coming from consultancy environment

/ A BA/MA education in a relevant field & strong project management tool box

/ The character to thrive in a servant leader, "client-facing", consultant role

/ The ability to design and implement large structures in complex stakeholder setups; to coordinate the best out of creative people and processes; to maintain a positive, balanced focus between details and high-level overview

/  Again, any experience with Scrum methodology or SAFe etc. will be considered a plus but is not required for this role

Other specifications

Location and language requirements 

For this role, we are open to hear from English-speaking candidates who are already based in Denmark or the Øresund area, and are able to work regularly from our Copenhagen office.

Fluency in Danish is strongly preferred (but not strictly required) as the client communication is until now primarily held in Danish.

Please note that in this role you will be expected to work on-site with the client (based in Vanløse) on a regular basis - approx. once every two weeks, in busy periods up to multiple days a week. 

This position is not open to fully remote work or global relocation possibilities, but does offer the opportunity for a hybrid WFH/in-office model for local candidates.
